Renting in Yerevan for a Month: Daily, Monthly or Long-Term?
By WSE.AM editorial team, edited by Mark Muzyka · Updated 12 October 2026
Coming to Yerevan for a month or two? We compare daily, monthly and long-term rentals by price and terms, and show where a month costs the least.

What is the cheapest way to rent an apartment in Yerevan for a month?
The short answer: a month is an awkward length of stay. It is long and expensive for a daily rental and too short for a one-year lease, so there are three options. A daily rental, even with a discount for a longer stay, almost always comes out more expensive than a monthly one: you pay for flexibility, cleaning and full furnishing. This format makes sense for stays of up to two or three weeks. A monthly rental is when the owner is willing to rent for one to three months, usually at a markup over the annual rate, because a short stay means downtime and a new tenant search for them. The markup is negotiable, especially outside the tourist season. The third option is a regular long-term lease at the standard rate with clear early termination terms, where one month's notice is the usual practice. It pays off if there is a chance you will stay longer. For a short stay, be sure to check that the apartment is fully furnished and equipped.
One or two months is an awkward length of stay: long and expensive for a daily rental, too short for a one-year lease. Here is how to rent for that period without overpaying.
Three formats and what they cost
1. A daily rental for a month. Even with a discount for a longer stay, a daily rental almost always comes out more expensive than a monthly one: you pay for flexibility, cleaning and full furnishing. It makes sense for stays of up to 2-3 weeks. See the short-term rental catalog. 2. A monthly rental. Some owners are willing to rent for 1-3 months, usually at a markup over the "annual" rate (for the owner, a short stay means downtime and a new tenant search). The markup is negotiable, especially outside the tourist season. 3. A long-term lease with a flexible exit. If there is a chance you will stay longer, it is sometimes cheaper to sign a regular lease at the standard rate with clear early termination terms (one month's notice is the usual practice). Benchmark rents by district are in our price overview.
What to check for a short stay
- Full furnishing and appliances. For a month you will not want to buy anything: dishes, bed linen, a washing machine and internet from day one.
- All payments in one list: rent, deposit, utilities, so that the month does not pick up extra charges.
- A lease even for a month. A short stay is no reason to skip the paperwork: see what the lease should include, and the typical scams aimed at short-term tenants are covered here.
When is it cheaper to come?
Demand for short stays peaks in summer and over the New Year holidays: in those windows there is less choice and the markups are higher. In spring and autumn monthly options are found faster and cost less.
Bottom line
For a month: up to 3 weeks, a daily rental; from a month, a monthly rental with some negotiation; for "a month with the option to stay", a long-term lease with a flexible exit. Tell us your dates and budget in the request form at the bottom of the page or in the chat, and we will offer options for your format today, including moving in before you arrive.
