Splitting data over a week
3 days in Yerevan, 4 in Georgia
Maps, taxis, messaging: 1 GB for Armenia ($3) and 3 GB for Georgia ($7.80), $10.80 before the discount.
Even split with headroom
3 GB per country: $15.60 before the discount, about $14.04 with 10% off.
Video tours of a Batumi flat for family
Video calls burn data fastest: take 5 GB ($11.52) or 10 GB ($19.20) for Georgia.
You live in Yerevan with a local SIM
Then you only need the Georgian eSIM.
When and how to buy
- Buy both eSIMs in advance in one order: Yesim gives 10% off for two or more.
- Each must be activated within 180 days of purchase, so there is no rush to install.
- Each plan's 30 days start when your phone connects to the network with that eSIM. The Georgian one will not use up days while you are in Yerevan.
- One QR code installs on one phone: if two of you travel, each needs their own eSIMs.
Worth knowing
- Data only: no calls, no SMS, no local numbers. Where an Armenian or Georgian number is required, the eSIM will not help.
- The site calculator shows a $4.20 1-day plan for both countries, which costs more than 1 GB for 30 days at $3.
- Speed may be limited under the operator's fair usage policy. No ID check. Dial *#06# to check eSIM support.
- yesim.app accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and UnionPay. Promo code travelpayouts24 gives new users 3 EUR off, under the affiliate programme terms.
