On 23.10.2026 we went through 71 GetRentacar listings in Yerevan, and 34 carried the “No deposit” tag. It is not just cheap saloons: the range runs from a 2009 Toyota Camry to a Rolls-Royce Ghost. A few examples:

No deposit does not mean pricier
You might expect owners to build the missing deposit into the price. Our sample says otherwise:
Renault Arkana 2020
5,708 ₽ a day with no deposit, 5,973 ₽ on standard terms.
Toyota Alphard 2007
5,568 ₽ with no deposit, a second listing without the tag at 6,142 ₽.
Kia Rio
A 2018 with no deposit at 3,931 ₽, a 2019 without the tag at 4,258 ₽.
So switch on the “No deposit” filter and compare prices as usual.
What to ask the owner anyway
No deposit only means none of your money is frozen. What happens after a scratch depends on other terms. Ask in writing, before you book:
- Is the car insured, and what does the cover include?
- What is the excess: how much do you pay yourself if the car is damaged?
- How is damage recorded, who prices the repair and when is it due?
- Could a deposit be requested at handover? If the listing says “No deposit” and cash is asked for at pickup, you have the messages to show.
- Is there a mileage cap, and what do extra kilometres cost?
At pickup, photograph the car from every side with a timestamp. With no dispute you will never need the photos; with one, you will struggle without them.
How payment works
- 15% is paid online when booking, the other 85% to the owner at pickup. If the owner allows, you can pay everything upfront.
- The service FAQ says Visa and Mastercard debit cards are accepted. The site also shows a banner about paying with a Russian card: the payment step shows which option works for you.
- Cancellation is free.

That depends on the insurance and excess of the particular owner. Get the terms in writing before booking.
How much do I pay upfront?
15% online when booking, the remaining 85% to the owner at pickup.
