Four options that work
Search in Yerevan
The city has 261 cars. Pick one and, before paying, ask the owner where and when they can hand over the keys.
Ask about the airport
Whether you can collect the car at the terminal is up to each owner. We cannot promise it: ask early and get the place, time and price in writing.
Pick up next morning
Landing in the evening? Take a taxi to your accommodation and collect the car in town the next day. You won't pay a full day for a car parked overnight.
Send a request
The airport page has a “Get offers” form. Use it if you like, but plan as if nobody replies.
If the owner agrees to meet you at the terminal
- Send your flight number and landing time.
- Agree what happens if the flight is late: will they wait, and does the price change?
- Ask for an exact meeting point, not just “at the airport”.
- Settle how you will reach each other right after landing.
What to check at pickup
- Documents: passport plus a driving licence, national or international depending on where it was issued. The owner may ask for a photo of you holding the licence.
- Deposit: of 71 Yerevan listings in our sample, 34 were marked “No deposit”. If yours has one, get the amount and the refund terms in writing.
- Mileage: 65 of the 71 listings had no mileage limit. The rest do, so check the cap before you leave.
- Payment: 15% went online, 85% goes to the owner at pickup. Ask in advance how they want the balance paid.
- The car itself: photograph it from every side with a timestamp and note the fuel level.
