A month in Canada: four ways to get enough data
Yesim prices as of 22.10.2026. Fixed plans last 30 days.
- 20 GB for $39.60. That is $1.98 per gigabyte, the lowest rate in the Canadian lineup. Works if you have Wi-Fi at home and on campus.
- 20 GB plus 10 GB for $66.00. Thirty gigabytes from two plans, for when twenty clearly won't do.
- Two 20 GB plans for $79.20. Forty gigabytes and still cheaper than unlimited.
- Unlimited for 30 days at $86.40. The most expensive route, but you stop counting.
For reference, a month of unlimited in Armenia is $68.40, so Canada costs $18.00 more. Travelling as a couple? Buying two eSIMs at once gets you 10% off.

What a gigabyte costs
| 30-day plan | Price | Per GB | Same plan in Armenia |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 GB | $5.40 | $5.40 | $3.00 |
| 3 GB | $10.80 | $3.60 | $7.80 |
| 5 GB | $15.00 | $3.00 | $11.52 |
| 10 GB | $26.40 | $2.64 | $19.20 |
| 20 GB | $39.60 | $1.98 | $26.40 |
The small plans are poor value in Canada: 1 GB costs almost twice the Armenian price. If you are staying longer than a week, start at 10 GB rather than topping up one gigabyte at a time.
Bell, Rogers, Telus, Videotron, WIND
The Canada page on Yesim lists five networks. Bell, Rogers, Telus and WIND show 5G, Videotron runs on LTE. Coverage cities named on the page include Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa and Calgary.
Besides the Canada-only plan there is a regional North America package covering 3 countries, the smallest regional package we looked at. We don't have its prices, so if your route goes beyond Canada, compare on the site yourself.
The eSIM in brief

- You can buy it in Yerevan: there are 180 days to activate, and the 30 days start when the phone first connects.
- The operator may slow speeds under its Fair Usage Policy, and hotspot sharing also depends on the operator.
- Payment: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, UnionPay. Promo code travelpayouts24 gives new users 3 EUR off under the affiliate programme terms.
