These cards do not state an age, so ask the guide before booking.
How to choose
- Length. Many city walks run 2 or 3 hours, while trips as far south as Tatev take more than 12 hours. Start short with small children.
- Private or group. A private tour is often priced per party, for example 133 € for up to 6 people to Garni and Geghard, 4 hours. For a family of four that can beat four group tickets.
- Age marks. Some tours are 18+, usually because of a wine tasting, and one about Gyumri is 16+.
- Transport. Cards say on foot, by car or by bus; a car makes it easy to stop when a child is tired.
